Takuara Rendá

Takuara Rendá, the Paraguayan permaculture reference center, takes its name from the Paraguay’s native language, Guaraní, and means “home of the bamboo.” As an architect and a designer seeking to dignify peoples’ lives while lightening environmental impact, Guillermo Gayo, its founder, had gravitated toward bamboo as a rapidly renewable and highly versatile construction material.
